The Fieldhouse
The purpose of the ASH Centre Field House improvement plans is
- To establish a first class training environment for various youth organizations in the Fort Wayne Community. To serve the training and instruction needs of a community. To serve as a host site for various health & wellness initiatives. To be a multi-purpose event for community needs.
- TO SERVE NEEDS....,.inner city, youth, seniors, special needs
A renovated field house means, first class facilities for thousands of youth in Fort Wayne, a better training atmosphere for our collegiate athletes, as well as a more pleasant atmosphere for senior social gatherings and senior health programs.
For the Fort Wayne Community it can also mean:

- more productive and efficient skills enhancement leading to better athletes, more confidence, and better leaders
- more efficiency in space utilization for more organizations to get involved and expand their programming.
- an outlet or central hub for quality inner city outreach
With a renovated Field House, the ASH Centre intends to create a first class facility
- that combines quality youth, special needs, and seniors programming
- with a focus on quality atmosphere promoting life skills development of young people
- to create and control an atmosphere conducive to life skills development of thousands of young people.
- to attract in like minded service organizations focused on impacting the lives of adolescents and young adults.
- to offer a "home" for at risk athletes to be challenged, encouraged, and motivated to realize their potential and reach for their dreams!
The Field House offers a centralized hub that focuses on collaboration rather than duplication, offering service organizations a quality atmosphere in which to host their programs. Part of the ASH Centre's Vision is to assist partnerships to focus on life skills development for youth and participatory activities for seniors--Youth and Seniors can all be served at one location!
