Infrastructure / Eco Friendly Initiatives
A very important part of the ASH Centre's Vision is long term sustainability. In order to accomplish this long range goal, our project must address and incorporate a strong infrastructure. Such an infrastructure must address water displacement issues, responsible environmental controls, proper underground wiring, street closures, and economically and ecologically responsible energy use for the facility and the grounds.
The ASH Centre is positioned in a prime location, as it is ten minutes from downtown and Parkview Field, minutes from Jefferson Pointe and the Jefferson Blvd corridor into the city, and ten minutes from NW Fort Wayne via the Hillegas Road extension.
What issues would proper infrastructure at the ASH Centre 26-acre campus address and help?
- Taylor and Catulpa Street flooding: add pictures and some data
- Potential City Rain Garden Initiatives: add plans if available?
- Traffic flow issues: identify need for street closure of Culbertson and ???
- Potential ground plans for ballfields: arch drawings and renderings.
- Garden and Landscape plans for WBA Park.
