The needs of the Fort Wayne Community have been carefully researched, with programs and potential programs to serve locally and internationally. A successsful capital campaign will ensure the creation of the one of the most efficient and unique outreach projects in the Fort Wayne Community. In addition to providing a quality faciltiy for service organizations, the ASH Centre has the exciting and unique opportunity to bring the world to Fort Wayne through the World Baseball Academy [link]. The success of this project alone will have an untold impact on the Fort Wayne Community, both in ecomomic development and in cross cultural relationships.
The potential for an up to date Health and Wellness Wing hold exciting possibilities for Fort Wayne youth, seniors and Fort Wayne Wellness projects.
As a public charity, the mission of the Centre is two-fold:
- Identify deteriorated/underutilized faciltiies in the Fort Wayne Community that can be used to serve the needs of various organizations whose purpose is to improve the quality of lives for others.
- Develop programs and events that increase health awareness, promote youth, seniors and special needs programs and assist those service organizations expand and improve their outreach to meet other community needs.
