…will bring to the ASH Centre Darin Van Tassell, Tournament Director of the 2008 Olympic Baseball Games in Beijing, China. Dr. Van Tassell is coming to speak about the Olympic Games and to tell us of the future phases of the World Baseball Academy, to be housed exclusively at the ASH Centre. Named
Professor of the Year in 2006 at Georgia Southern University where he is a professor of the University’s Center for International Studies, Dr. Van Tassell serves as a Lead Instructor for the World Baseball Academy. He is an expert in U.S. foreign policy, amateur & professional sports and international relations. The ASH Centre is honored to have such a distinguished academician and sports expert join us in celebrating our second annual banquet.

Our Second Annual fundraising banquet and auction will focus on upgrades to the Field House. These improvements will allow us to increase our capacity, thus serving the community in even greater ways.
